Currently in school now, waiting for French class to start. Heck. I'm bored. I'm sick of Warbook. Of Sakhment Solitaire. That's why I'm blogging even though I don't have much to say.
I am just done with watching '...And the Band Played On' in Comt Issues. Right, that reminds me of something I meant to do : look it up on Imdb.
Gosh, the main character used to be something like a hottie with a slight resemblance to Gaspard Ulliel. Now he's just.... heavily wrinkled up. Just look at what 15 years can do to your face!
And I'm a bit startled by the fact the owner of the sleazy bathhouse is Phil Collins! Hey, ain't he the one who sang 'You'll Be In My Heart' and 'True Colors'? Who ever knew the guy who came up with uber-cheesy songs could pull off nasty-sleezy-greedy man so well?
Anyway I have finished The Host. I read it in 6 hours - it was a little over 600 pages and some parts I had to deliberate over. I finished it at 4am on Saturday morning.
It was a good read in a different way from the Twilight series. I liked Wanderer way more than I liked Bella Swan because Bella could be annoying and whiney sometimes. I'm glad that the love interests in The Host didn't make one think of Edward Cullen or Jacob Black. Some parts were slightly disturbing, some parts pulled at your heart... Overall I knew what the ending would be but S.M wound it up rather well. Let's just say if the ending didn't end the way I knew it would end, I'd be sobbing my heart out.
i thought the world of you
